Description :

Record of Agarest War 2, (aka Agarest: Generations of War 2 in Europe) is a JRPG featuring a multi-generational story. In this iteration, a young man named Weiss learns that he must harbor the slaughtered energy of a God within himself, and arrange things so that he will bring about its return. To complicate matters, it was he who killed the god in a past life.

The ability and necessity of choosing a mate and breeding the next generation's protagonist returns, with expanded options such the ability to choose ill-suited couples which will create weaker characters. The battle system of the prior two games has been altered to play as a cross between Trinity Universe and Cross Edge, wherein you can assign certain party member attacks to different buttons, and also utilize varying party formations and individual character's special skills. All battles are turn-based and they are presented through a combination of high-definition sprites and 3D polygonal enemies.
